THE LEGEND OF SIMURG

All the birds in the secret and open world gather together and discuss why there is no sultan in their country. And they decide to look for a sultan for themselves. Among the birds collected there are Puhu, Falcon, Hüma, Partridge, Peacock, Dudu, Goose, Bulbul and others. Meanwhile, Huthut arrives and tells the birds that she is the messenger and confidant of Prophet Solomon and that she knows the location of the sultan they are looking for; She says that he lives behind Mount Kaf and his name is "Simurg". Huthut states that she can show them the way and that they can reach there if they follow her. The Huthut guide is made to give convincing and convincing answers to each of the birds that ask for reasons to set out, and he also gives information about the Simurg and makes the following description:

“The first surprising act of Simurg is this: He appeared in the country of China at midnight. A feather fell from his wing to that country; All cities touched each other... Everyone obtained a different kind of embroidery or painting from that feather. Anyone who saw one of those embroideries took up some kind of work, started some kind of work. That feather is now in China's Nigeria... That's why it is said, "Seek and obtain knowledge, even in China." If the embroidery on the feather of his wing were not visible, this fight and this noise would not exist in the world. All these works occurred from his brightness... all these lights emerged from the embroidery on a single feather of his wing. His qualifications have no beginning or bottom... It is not right to say more than that! Now whoever of you is lost, enter the path and set foot on the path!”

Some of the birds, who set out impatiently after listening to these words, begin to get tired over time and make excuses of their own. In response to the words of each bird that has an excuse, Huthut tells a story and encourages them to continue on their way. The Huthut talks about Simurg again to the birds, who continue to question them throughout the journey, and says the following:

“If Simurg was not clearly visible, would he have any shadow? Then, if Simurg was hidden, would his shadow ever cast its shadow on the universe? Everything whose shadow is seen here first appears and appears there. If you don't have eyes to see Simurg, it means your heart is not as clear as a mirror."

Upon these words, all the birds begin to understand some secrets and continue to fly. As time passes along the way, although they want to see their sultan, their simple lives and worldly pleasures prevail in their hearts. They ask questions about the outcome of their journey, pointing out their own weaknesses and shortcomings, and want to know how long the journey will last. Huthut continues to explain and says that there are seven valleys on the way and those who pass through these valleys will attain the manifestation of God. At the beginning of the work, there is the valley of "Desire". After that comes the endless valley of "Love". The third valley is "Ingenuity" and the fourth valley is "Satisfaction" valley. The fifth valley is the "Monotheism" valley, the sixth valley is the " Astonishment" valley, which is a terrible valley full of obstacles. The seventh valley is the valley of "Poverty".

Eventually, many of the birds give up on the road or perish for various reasons. Finally, out of hundreds of birds, only thirty birds cross these valleys and reach Kaf Mountain. They ask about Simurg, and at that moment a postman comes and puts a piece of paper in front of them and tells them to read it. When they read it, they are surprised to see that everything they have experienced and done along the way is written on these papers. Meanwhile, Simurg also manifests. However, they are completely astonished when they see that it is they who are manifested and that they consist of Simurg, that is, thirty birds in terms of meaning. A voice comes from Simurg;

“Thirty birds came here, thirty birds appeared. If you came more or less, you would be more visible. “This place is a mirror.”

In this state, where there is no longer any road, passenger or guide, they all eventually disappear in Simurg.
